Blue Point Capital Partners portfolio company Next Level Apparel (NLA) has acquired Stedman, a designer, manufacturer and supplier of casual and sportswear blank apparel for the printwear industry.
Headquartered in Aachen, Germany, Stedman is an independent company providing promotional clothing. The company has warehouses in Ghent, Belgium, and Zagreb, Croatia and a market presence in over 40 countries.
Stedman’s clothing range, in men’s, women’s and youth apparel, is complementary with Los Angeles-based NLA’s product collections, according to Blue Point. NLA is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of blank apparel for the printwear, retail, brand specialty and other decorated apparel markets.
“Not only is this an exciting milestone for all involved, it also further validates our belief in M&A and geographic expansion as key drivers for the business’ strategic growth,” said Evan Cottington, principal at Blue Point.
Blue Point, headquartered in Cleveland in the US, is a private equity firm managing over $1.5 billion in committed capital.
