- Waterland Private Equity is the seller
- BU is a family-backed investment firm
- The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year
Bregal Unternehmerkapital (BU) has acquired a majority stake in Netrics Holding, a Swiss cloud-managed service provider, from Waterland Private Equity.
Zurich-based Netrics currently serves over 600 enterprise and SME customers.
BU will support Netrics in its next stages of growth, including the continuation of its M&A strategy, according to a release.
“Netrics has outstanding potential for further organic and inorganic growth, particularly in the exciting cloud segments, given the immense need for digitalisation in the economy and its positioning in the market,” said Philipp Freyschlag, director at BU.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year.
No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.
BU is a family-backed investment firm with offices in Zug, Munich and Milan. It invests in mid-sized companies based in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy.
Waterland is an independent private equity investment firm based in Bussum, the Netherlands.
