Studenac, a portfolio company of Enterprise Investors, has partnered with Infobip, a global cloud communications platform.
Omiš, Croatia-headquartered Studenac is a grocery chain with almost 1100 stores.
London-based Infobip offers omnichannel engagement via a range of messaging channels and tools for customer engagement, authentication and security.
The strategic partnership will improve customer engagement by allowing consumers to use communications platforms such as WhatsApp to communicate with Studenac, according to a release.
In addition to Croatian, the interactive service will be available in English.
Warsaw-based Enterprise Investors acquired Studenac in 2018. Since the acquisition, Studenac has invested over €250 million in expanding its network, through M&A and organic growth, the release said.
Enterprise Investors has been active since 1990, and the firm has raised nine funds. The funds have invested €2.2 billion in 153 companies across a range of sectors.
