“Andrea’s appointment is further evidence of our long-standing thesis that having a team with direct private equity skills is essential to adequately evaluate and execute GP-led secondary transactions,” said Benoît Durteste, CIO and CEO of ICG. “We are pleased to welcome Andrea to the team, further strengthening our capabilities.”
“ICGSE’s strong reputation, scale, and exclusive focus on GP-led transactions make it a highly differentiated player in the secondaries market,” said Serra. “I am excited to join a market leading team with a strong track record in a now well-established asset class that is poised for continued significant growth ahead.”
Serra joins ICG from Blackstone where he spent 15 years, most recently as a managing director in the tactical opportunities group in New York. Before that Serra, was in the private equity division in London and New York.
