Inflexion, a mid-market private equity firm investing across the UK and Europe, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hunter Point Capital (HPC). As part of the partnership, HPC has made a minority investment in Inflexion.

No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.

Inflexion is headquartered in London and has offices in Manchester and Amsterdam. The firm typically invests £10 million to £400 million of equity in each deal.

“We are excited for the significant global connections and business-building capabilities that HPC provides, which we believe will be invaluable as we continue our successful strategy of backing ambitious management teams,” said Simon Turner and John Hartz, managing partners at Inflexion.

HPC plans to support Inflexion through its global network and business-building experience to help strengthen Inflexion’s ability to grow and scale sustainably, according to a release.

There will be no changes to governance, the investment process or day-to-day management of Inflexion, the release added.

HPC is an independent investment firm seeking to make minority investments in middle-market alternative asset managers. The firm is based in New York.
