Levine Leichtman Capital Partners announced on Thursday that William Trevelyan Thomas has joined the firm as a director in its investment management group. Trevelyan Thomas joins from Charterhouse Capital Partners where he served as director for six years. Before that he was a senior investment manager at HIG Capital for five years.
“Will brings great experience and intelligence to the team, and we are excited for the contributions he will make to our growing European business,” said Josh Kaufman, head of Europe at LLCP.
The appointment follows the appointment of Kaufman as Levine’s head of Europe in June as reported by PE Hub Europe. LLCP has expanded its European business with expansion across offices in London, Stockholm, Frankfurt and The Hague.
“We are delighted that Josh has assumed leadership of our European operations,” said Matthew Frankel and Michael Weinberg, managing partners of LLCP of Kaufman’s appointment. “During his tenure with LLCP, Josh has played an integral role in expanding our business and executing many of our successful investments in the region.”
Kaufman was previously a senior managing director of the investment management team.
Kaufmann rejoined LLCP in 2020, having been with the firm in a similar capacity from 2011 to 2016. He will join LLCP’s investment committee and will be responsible for managing the European investment team as well as overseeing origination of new investment opportunities, investment due diligence and portfolio management.
