Main Capital-backed Pointsharp adds SIVIS to its kit

Pointsharp, backed by Main Capital Partners, has acquired SIVIS, an identity and role management company.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

SIVIS is based in Karlsruhe, Germany.

“This strategic combination with SIVIS symbolises another important step in Pointsharp’s growth journey as it seeks to become the leading European security player while also competing with the larger US vendors,” said Wessel Ploegmakers, partner and co-head of the Nordics office at Main. “Furthermore, the acquisition of SIVIS enables Pointsharp to solidify its presence in the strategically important growth market Germany.”

SIVIS is Pointsharp’s third add-on acquisition following the acquisition of Secmaker in 2021 and Cryptshare in 2022.

Main first invested in Pointsharp in 2020 with a focus on international expansion throughout Northwestern Europe.

Pointsharp is an identity and access management service provider based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Main Capital is a software investor in the Benelux, DACH, Nordics and US. The firm, based in the Hague, manages over €2.2 billion in assets under management.
