Nordic Capital has announced the appointment of Mohit Agnihotri as a partner.
Agnihotri will now become a key member of Nordic Capital’s technology and payments team and will be based in London. He will also lead the team’s investment advisory activities in the US, alongside Greg Sheldon and other members of Nordic’s office in New York.
Agnihotri will also be responsible for Nordic Capital’s payments and fintech activities, according to a release.
He will handle financial software investment advisory activities with co-partner Emil Anderson, the release added.
“Mohit brings a wealth of global experience in investment banking, investing and consulting in the financial technology, payments and software & technology sectors,” said Fredrik Näslund, partner, head of technology & payments at Nordic Capital.
Previously, he worked as global head of payments at JP Morgan, and managing director, London office at Financial Technology Partners where he was a senior banker focusing on Fintech and Technology sectors globally.
Nordic Capital is a private equity investor and has invested €22 billion in over 130 investments. The firm is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
