Stellex Capital buys David Brown Santasalo from N4 Partners

Stellex Capital Management has acquired David Brown Santasalo (DBS), a global gear systems firm, from N4 Partners.

No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.

DBS, based in Huddersfield, UK, delivers engineered industrial gear systems and services, manufactured for critical industrial applications for industries.

“DBS brings global delivery of gear manufacturing and service expertise within a broad range of critical service sectors, and with many long-term relationships,” said Karthik Achar, partner at Stellex. “We look forward to working with the management team and its employees.”

Stellex is a private equity firm focused on investments in North America and Europe. The firm is based in New York and has more than $2.6 billion in assets under management.

N4 Partners is a private equity firm based in Glasgow, Scotland.
