WestBridge hires Ledger, Gilbert as investment executives

WestBridge is a private equity firm headquartered in London.

  • Ledger and Gilbert will join the investment team to support deal origination, execution and portfolio management
  • Ledger worked at Investec Bank prior to joining WestBridge 
  • Gilbert joined the firm from Stephens Investment Banking

WestBridge has appointed Jessica Ledger, and Luke Gilbert as new investment executives.

Ledger, prior to this, worked at Investec Bank where she worked predominantly on FinTech and ecommerce transactions.

Gilbert joined the firm from Stephens Investment Banking where he worked in the industrials team.

Ledger and Gilbert will join the WestBridge investment team to support deal origination, execution and portfolio management, according to a release.

“They are both impressive individuals and add to the DNA of our collaborative culture,” said Guy Davies, managing partner, WestBridge.

The appointment follows WestBridge’s completion of six transactions, including its exit from bChannels which generated a 4.2x multiple of cost, the release added.

WestBridge is a lower mid-market private equity firm based in London.

The firm invests between £10 million to £30 million UK SMEs with EBITDA of £2 million to £6 million and enterprise values of up to £60 million.
