The sellers were the Cherubini family and Equinox, an Italian private equity investor.
The new and existing investors include Altaroc, Jane Street, NYC Retirement System, ICG, TPG and Hg, which has a majority stake in Visma.
The acquisition includes a total of over 60 wind turbines.
The deal was completed through Investcorp Corsair Infrastructure Partners, a new venture jointly owned by Investcorp and Corsair.
The deal puts Imperva at a valuation of about $3.6 billion.
The seller is healthcare group Fresenius.
The portfolio comprises 20 limited partnership interests, a majority of which are North American but also includes European buyout funds.
