BaltCap buys book retailer Rahva Raamat

BaltCap announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Rahva Raamat, which it says is the largest integrated book retailer, publisher and distributor in Estonia. The company, headquartered in Tallinn, has an online bookstore and 12 bookstores in eight cities.

BaltCap aims to accelerate the company’s growth across the Baltics and the digitisation of its products and services.

The deal for Rahva follows BaltCap’s recent purchases of Lithuania’s largest publishing house, Alma Littera, and Pegasas Bookstores.
