Bowmark Capital has appointed Rahul Satsangi as a partner to strengthen the firm’s investment team.
Satsangi joins the Bowmark Growth Partners fund to extend its investment programme to growth-oriented, lower mid-market businesses in the UK, according to a release.
The fund has completed investments in Cornwall Insight, a data and research provider to the energy sector, Xperience, an IT service provider, and DeHavilland, a political data and intelligence provider.
Previously, he served as a senior investor at BGF.
“Rahul is a highly experienced investment professional with in-depth knowledge of software and tech-enabled services,” said Charles Ind, managing partner. “His investment track record, combined with his strong network of contacts and reputation, make him a valuable addition to the team.”
His appointment follows other recent hires. Dana Liu joined the firm as an investment manager in August, Inderpal Lall and Faustas Stoncius joined as investment executives in June, and Emma Ward joined as an origination executive in May.
London-based Bowmark is a private equity firm that invests in technology and services companies. The firm manages and advises funds of over £1.7 billion ($2.1 billion; €1.9 billion).
