Cairngorm Capital’s portfolio company, National Timber Group, has acquired NORclad, a bespoke fire-rated timber cladding provider.
Based in Bristol in England, NORclad manufactures timber cladding, facades and other timber products used by commercial and residential customers nationally.
The acquisition aligns with NTG’s strategy to increase its knowledge, range, and manufacturing capacity in bespoke fire-rated timber cladding and customers of NORclad will benefit from access to the broader range of products and services available to them from NTG, according to Cairngorm.
Cairngorm launched the umbrella brand, National Timber Group, following the acquisitions of Thornbridge, North Yorkshire Timber, Rembrand and Arnold Laver. Thornbridge and Rembrand are headquartered in Grangemouth in Scotland, and North Yorkshire Timber and Arnold Laver are based in Northallerton in England and Sheffield, England, respectively.
