Earth Capital (ECL) has made an investment in Ace Aquatec, an aquaculture technology company, to grow its current portfolio of products and markets.
No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
Ace Aquatec is based in Dundee, Scotland.
ECL joins existing investors Aqua Spark and Chroma Ventures.
“Sustainable farming aligns perfectly with Earth Capital Limited’s mission to advance technology within the energy, food, and water sectors while driving towards a net-zero future,” said Bradley Jones, senior investment manager of ECL.

Chris van der Kuyl CBE, principal of Chroma Ventures is appointed chair and Nina Santi, senior advisor at INAQ AS, will join the board as a non-executive director.
ECL’s investment will also enable the acceleration of Ace Aquatec’s development in aquaculture technology services, according to a release.
Avent Bezuidenhoudt, CEO, and Jones worked on the deal on behalf of ECL with Penelope Garden from Field Seymour Parkes providing legal advice.
