Extens has appointed Albane Gayon as operating director to support the growth of its portfolio companies.
Gayon, in this new role, will structure and strengthen the strategic and operational support provided to the portfolio companies.
Prior to this, she was the chief of staff to the president and director of strategy at IQVIA France, in charge of transformation, external growth, and operational excellence.
“Her experience will enable us to strengthen the concrete contribution to the software companies in the portfolio and to aim for outstanding performance,” said Arnaud Houette and Quentin Jacomet, managing partners.
Gayon’s appointment is part of a consolidation effort as the team is currently deploying Extens III, according to a release.
Gayon, who will work alongside Arnaud Houette and Cédric Berger, is the second hire in 2023.
Extens is a Paris, France-based digital health investment fund. The firm acts as a growth investor, mainly in France and Western Europe, by injecting up to €15 million into SMEs that generate over €3 million in revenue and are EBITDA positive.
