- Günther joins General Atlantic from Oakley Capital
- Jörn Nikolay will transition into an advisory director role at the end of 2023

General Atlantic will appoint Sascha Günther as managing director and head of DACH, effective 1 January 2024.
Günther will be based out of the firm’s Munich office.
He will join General Atlantic from Oakley Capital, where he most recently served as a partner leading deal origination and execution and investment advisory in the German-speaking region, with a focus on the technology and consumer industries.
The firm also announced Jörn Nikolay’s transition into an advisory director role at the end of 2023. Nikolay joined General Atlantic in 2008 and has served as Head of DACH since 2012.
Nikolay, in this role, will provide strategic counsel to DACH investment teams and portfolio companies.
