Gilde Healthcare’s private equity fund has agreed to sell its majority stake in Zetacom to Avedon Capital. No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
Zetacom is a systems integrator for critical communication systems and networking and security products. The firm is headquartered in Zoetermeer, Netherlands.
The proposed acquisition is likely to be completed in the coming months, subject to relevant regulatory nods.
Following this deal, Avedon will combine Zetacom with Detron.
“We are delighted to be taking these companies to the next level together with management,” said Willem van der Veer, investment director at Avedon. “We will be supporting management in realising further organic growth and acquisitions.”
This potential merger will create one of the “largest independent managed services providers” in the Netherlands, according to a release.
The merged firm will be headed by Tom Tank, CEO, Mark Fait, CFO, Emile Jongboer, CCO and Dick Dompeling, managing director at Zetacom.
Glide Healthcare first invested in Zetacom in 2015.

Detron is an independent IT and telecoms partner headquartered in Veenendaal, the Netherlands. The firm has offices in Den Bosch, Raamsdonksveer, Heerlen and Barneveld.
