Innova Capital-backed Prime Label Group to acquire Pegwan

Pegwan is a printing company based in Lubartów, Poland.

Prime Label Group, backed by Innova Capital, has signed an agreement to acquire a 100 percent stake in Pegwan, a Polish printing company.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

Pegwan is based in Lubartów.

Pegwan is Prime Label’s fifth acquisition and is working on further acquisitions in the region, according to a release.

Prime Label will reach sales target of around €100 million in 2023, the release said.

“Alongside the acquisition of Pegwan, the group plans to make further acquisitions – this time in the field of labels printed with digital printing technology,” said Michal Wojdyla, partner at Innova Capital.

Innova Capital invested in Prime Label in May 2019 via its Innova/6 SCA §SICAV.

Innova Capital is an independent private equity advisor, operating from Poland and investing in majority buyouts in mid-sized enterprises with activities in Central and Eastern Europe. The firm is based in Warsaw.

Prime Label Group is label manufacturer in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. The company is based in Illinois, US.
