LDC has expanded its East Midlands and East of England team with two hires, making it three in the last six months. Simon Peacock joins as investment director. Mikayil Salahov joins as investment manager. The two follow Nicole Wong, who joined the team in April as investment manager.
Peacock joins LDC from Alantra, an investment banking and asset management firm focused on the mid-market. Peacock was with Alantra for 15 years and while there advised companies on a regional and sector basis across the consumer, industrials and business services sectors.
Salahov joins LDC from PwC where he was part of the company’s transaction services practice. Salahov focused on large cap and mid-market transactions and has experience across the technology, media, telecoms, business services and retail sectors.
LDC has committed to increasing its presence and activity in support of mid-market businesses across the East Midlands and East of England. LDC’s investments in the region include Shaken Udder, the Colchester-based milkshake brand and global programmatic advertising company Blis, based in London.
