Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has agreed to invest in cleversoft in partnership with its founder, Florian Clever, and management team.
No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.
Main Capital Partners will exit its investment in cleversoft as part of the transaction.
Cleversoft is a pan-European provider of regulatory software services to the financial services industry. The company is headquartered in Munich, Germany.
Cleversoft will continue to be led by Clever and the existing management team.
“We are thrilled to partner with Florian and his leadership team to support cleversoft as the company continues to aggressively scale worldwide, both organically and through select acquisitions,” said Matthias Tabbert, head of DACH at LLCP.
Cleversoft is LLCP’s first platform investment in the DACH region since opening its Frankfurt office last year, said Tabbert.
cleversoft is LLCP’s fourth platform investment via LLCP Lower Middle Market Fund III.
Main Capital invested in cleversoft in 2018.
