Main Capital Partners will acquire a majority stake in Omnidocs, a Danish enterprise information management software provider.
Omnidocs is based in Copenhagen.
Main will support the company in growing internationally both organically as well as through strategic add-on acquisitions, according to a release. Omnidocs aims to expand in Northwestern Europe as well as in Northern America, utilising existing and new partnership channels as a key component, the release said.
“Omnidocs’ selective buy-and-build strategy positions it as a potential leader in the European and American Enterprise Information Management software space, offering cutting-edge solutions across diverse verticals,” said Wessel Ploegmakers, partner and head of Nordics at Main.
Omnidocs’ management team will retain a minority stake and stay closely involved post-closing.
No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
Main is a software investor in the DACH, Benelux, the Nordics, and the US. It has over €2.2 billion in assets under management and has offices in the Hague, Düsseldorf, Stockholm, Antwerp and an affiliated office in Boston.
