The acquisition adds to Optimizers’ product offering and solidifies its market position in the Nordic region, the firms said.

  • The merger will form a combined business with revenues of over €20 million
  • Vendre serves more than 120 customers in Sweden

Main Capital has announced the acquisition of Vendre, an ecommerce platform provider, by Optimizers Group.

Stockholm-headquartered Vendre is a SaaS company with a module-based ecommerce platform. The firm serves more than 120 customers in Sweden, mainly SMEs in both B2B and B2C markets.

The acquisition has added to Optimizers product offering and has expanded its market presence in the Nordics region.

Optimizers saw consistent growth in its recurring revenue, by 20-25% per year autonomously, in recent years. The merger will form a combined business with revenues of over €20 million and 170 employees.

“The combination will help accelerate Optimizers’ growth momentum and solidify the presence in a core region,” said Pieter van Bodegraven, partner at Main Capital Partners. “Additionally, Vendre will complement Optimizers’ current product suite and strengthen the combined product offering. With the support of Main, Optimizers will continue focusing on both autonomous growth and a selective buy-and-build strategy.”
