Main Capital Partners has sold its investment in ChainPoint, a supply chain sustainability software provider, to Source Intelligence.
No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
ChainPoint is headquartered in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
ParkerGale Capital has backed the sale of ChainPoint to Source Intelligence in an effort to establish an overseas presence, according to a release.
Main Capital invested in ChainPoint in 2013.
“During our investment period, we were able to help scale up the organisation internationally while accelerating the company’s growth strategy in an increasingly profitable way,” said Pieter van Bodegraven, chairman at ChainPoint and senior partner at Main.
Source Intelligence plans to gain a stronger foothold in Europe through the acquisition of ChainPoint, the release said.
Source Intelligence, based in San Diego, California, provides services and software that streamline the evolving complexities of product compliance and ESG management.
Main Capital is a software investor in the Benelux, DACH, and Nordic regions. The firm, based in the Hague, has over €2.2 billion euros in assets under management.
ParkerGale Capital is a private equity firm that buys profitable technology companies. The firm is based in Chicago, Illinois.
