One Equity Partners (OEP) has acquired Kirey Group, an IT systems integrator and proprietary technology products developer, and Synergyc, an IT services consultant.
No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
Kirey Group and Synergyc are based in Milan, Italy and Sofia, Bulgaria, respectively.
Kirey Group employs more than 950 people.
“The simultaneous combination of Kirey Group with Synergyc creates a new player of scale in the market that is primed to benefit from robust growth within European IT services, a rapidly growing market driven by the adoption of various technologies supporting remote working and the continued digitisation of business processes,” said Joerg Zirener, senior MD at OEP.
Synergyc’s addition will bring in IT service workflow automation as well as CRM/ERP consulting capabilities to Kirey Group, according to a release.
OEP, based in New York, is a middle market private equity firm with around $10 billion (€9.04 billion) in assets under management. The firm invests in the industrial, healthcare and technology sectors in North America and Europe.
