PAI Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Infra Group, a multi-disciplinary network infrastructure services provider.
Infra Group is headquartered in Temse, Belgium and has over €750 million annual revenues.
PAI will be the largest shareholder in Infra Group, joining current investors ICG, Andera Partners and the management team led by Tom Vendelmans, upon deal completion.
PAI’s investment will support Infra Group and its management team to strengthen its position and accelerate expansion organically and via further complementary acquisitions, according to a release.
“As a critical enabler to the ongoing energy transition in Europe with a reputation for excellent quality of service, Infra Group is ideally positioned to benefit from ongoing investment plans to upgrade utility networks,” said Mathieu Paillat and Guillaume Leblanc, partners at PAI Partners.
The deal is subject to relevant regulatory approval.
PAI Partners, based in Paris, France, is a private equity firm investing in companies across the globe. The firm manages around €25 billion of dedicated buyout funds.
ICG is a global alternative asset manager that manages $80.2 billion of assets. The firm is based in London.
Andera Partners is a private equity company with around €4 billion in investments. The firm is based in Paris.
