Palatine-backed BK Plus makes first add on with Abrams Ashton deal

BK Plus, backed by Palatine Private Equity, has completed its acquisition of Abrams Ashton, a general accountancy practice.

Abrams Ashton is based in St Helens, England. It provides accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory services.

Abrams Ashton is the first acquisition since Palatine’s investment in BK Plus in September 2023.

“The strategic acquisition of Abrams Ashton further enhances BK Plus’ footprint in the Northwest and continues its ambitious growth strategy,” said Richard Thomas, partner at Palatine.

The investment will enable more effective service delivery to a wider client base, reinforcing their market position in the UK SME business services sector, according to a release.

Abrams Ashton’s partners David Cowen, Sally Fuller and Darren Leigh will continue to stay on in their roles.

BK Plus is an accounting and business advisory service provider based in Midlands.

Palatine is a UK mid-market private equity investor based in Manchester.
