Parthenon Capital has acquired a majority stake in Titan Wealth Holdings, a discretionary wealth and asset management business. No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
Titan Wealth has assets worth £40 billion ($48.29 billion; €45.36 billion) under management. The firm is based in London.
Parthenon will assist Titan Wealth in accelerating growth in the business, including investment in technology and enhancing Titan’s ability to deliver comprehensive, integrated investment and platform services, according to a release.
Additionally, this investment will also provide access to further funding to support future M&A.
Parthenon’s investment in Titan Wealth is its first platform investment in the UK, said Andrew Dodson, managing partner at Parthenon.
“The management team has demonstrated a strong track record of growth and their vertically integrated, client to custody strategy is differentiated from other players in the wealth management sector,” Dodson added.
This transaction is subject to FCA approval.
Titan Wealth’s current investors, funds managed by Ares Management and Maven Capital Partners will continue to maintain their investments, the release stated.
