Pollen Street Capital announced on Thursday that its portfolio company Punkta will combine with insurance agency Arrant. The transaction will create a combined group that is expected to distribute Z1 billion ($214 million; €212 million) of gross written premium in 2022.
Warsaw-based Punkta is an insurance platform offering a range of distribution and administration services to corporate and retail clients.
Arrant, headquartered in Warsaw, is an independent insurance agency that operates a network of approximately 1,100 agents across Poland.
The partnership follows Punkta’s recent sequence of acquisitions that includes April Polska, Coris, mFind, and Profi Insurance. Combining the two companies will also enable the enlarged group to better leverage Punkta’s investment in technology and product development, the firms said.
London-based Pollen Street Capital is an independent alternative investment management company, focused on the financial and business services sectors.
