Sienna IM to acquire minority stake in Eight Advisory

Sienna IM will support Eight Advisory’s growth plan and strengthen the organizational structure.

Sienna Investment Management announced on 21 July that it has acquired, via its new subsidiary Sienna Private Equity, a minority interest in Eight Advisory.

London-based Eight Advisory is an independent financial and operations consulting firm specialising in transaction, restructuring, transformation and financial engineering. The company works with family-owned firms, medium-sized companies, CAC 40 groups and multinationals.

Sienna IM, headquartered in Luxembourg, plans to aid Eight Advisory’s growth plan and strengthen its organisational structure. The operational governance of Eight Advisory will not change with the acquisition.

Sienna IM’s new subsidiary, Sienna Private Equity, was founded by Vincent Catherine and Hugo d’Avout, and is based in Paris. Sienna Private Equity will target mid-sized European businesses, focusing on media, real estate, healthcare and business services.
