Sienna Investment Managers picks Paul de Leusse as CEO

De Leusse takes the reins of the alternative investment platform of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert with €32.9bn in assets under management.

Sienna Investment Managers, the alternative investment and real assets platform of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, has appointed Paul de Leusse as CEO. De Leusse joins from the Orange Group where he had been deputy CEO since 2018.

De Leusse began his career in 1997 as a consultant and then partner at Oliver Wyman. De Leusse then joined Bain as a partner. In 2009 he moved to Crédit Agricole Group as head of strategy and in 2011 became head of finance at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, before becoming deputy CEO. In 2016, he became CEO of CA Indosuez, Crédit Agricole’s wealth management bank managing €120 billion of assets across 10 countries.

Sienna, the alternative investment platform, is headquartered in Luxembourg. It oversees over €32.9 billion as of June 30, 2022 on behalf of its shareholder GBL as well as institutional clients, mainly through real estate assets (Sienna Real Estate), private debt (Sienna Private Credit), investments in private and public market funds (Sienna Gestion) as well as through direct equity investments in unlisted companies (Sienna Private Equity and Sienna Venture Capital).
