Summa Equity brings in Stephanie Caspar as partner

Caspar will take charge as head of portfolio and Via Summa.

Summa Equity has appointed Stephanie Caspar as partner. She will take charge as head of portfolio and Via Summa.

Caspar will assist portfolio companies with strategy and planning as well as M&A and operations.

Prior to this, Caspar served as the divisional president and executive board member at Axel Springer.

Caspar will focus on portfolio companies’ impact creation through products and services that will help solve environmental challenges, according to a release.

“Via Summa is a central foundation of our success and we are delighted to welcome Stephanie to lead this aspect of our work,” said Reynir Indahl, founding and managing partner. “The team at Summa believes that impact performance is critical to future value, and Stephanie will work closely with Summa portfolio companies to deliver that.”

Matthias Fink, a Munich-based Summa partner, leads the DACH region.

Summa is a private equity firm headquartered in Stockholm. The firm manages assets worth €4 billion. The firm announced its third fund, €2.3 billion impact fund, in January 2022.
