The Riverside Company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Dastex Reinraumzubehör, a specialised independently owned cleanroom garment and consumables distributor in Europe.
The Riverside Company will also acquire Vita Verita, a supplier of products and services to cleanrooms, hospitals and critical environments, as a first add-on to the platform.
Dastex is headquartered in Muggensturm, Germany, whereas Vita Verita is based in Kungsängen, Stockholm.
Damien Gaudin, partner at Riverside Europe, led the deals, according to a release.
“By acquiring Dastex and Vita Verita, we combine two cleanroom consumables specialists in Europe, providing mission-critical products and services and forming the nucleus to our pan-European buy-and-build strategy,” Gaudin said. “This creates a unique platform perfectly positioned to continue growing organically and via acquisitions.”
Gaudin worked on the deals along with Maxime Meulemeester, VP, Nicola Tomaschko, senior associate, associates Sebastiaan Pauwels and Nils Mjornemark, and Bence Putnoky, associate – origination.
Gaudin sourced the Dastex deal, while Ali Al Alaf and Nils Mjornemark sourced the Vita Verita deal for Riverside, the release added.
The completion of the deals is subject to regulatory approval.
The Riverside Company is a global investment firm focused on the smaller end of the middle market. The firm is based in New York and has made over 960 investments.
