Tikehau-backed Mecachrome buys Groupe Rossi Aero

Mecachrome designs, machines and sub-assembles high precision assemblies for the aerospace, automotive, defence and energy sectors.

Mecachrome, backed by Tikehau Ace Capital and Bpifrance, announced that it has bought a majority stake in Groupe Rossi Aero. Mecachrome is a French precision engineering company based in Amboise that works with the aerospace, automotive, defence and energy sectors.

Groupe Rossi Aero is a family-owned company headquartered in Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc, France. It manufacturers components for the aerospace industry. The company will operate as a standalone company.

Paris-based Tikehau is a pan-European asset manager and investor. The private equity arm of the firm, Tikehau Ace Capital, has €4.5 billion of assets under management. It looks to invest between €20 million to €150 million in each deal.

Bpifrance is the French public investment bank and is based in Paris.
