Tikehau invests in Anthesis

The minority investment is made alongside Carlyle, Anthesis’ employee shareholders and Palatine.

Tikehau Capital has announced an investment in Anthesis, a global pure-play sustainability consultancy firm, on behalf of its funds under management. The minority investment is made alongside Carlyle, Anthesis’ employee shareholders and Palatine.

Carlyle agreed to acquire a majority stake in Anthesis at the end of June. Existing investor Palatine Private Equity reinvested for a minority stake as part of the transaction.

Headquartered in London, Anthesis offers sustainability services which include developing and activating sustainability strategies, enhancing digital capabilities, implementing carbon reduction plans and creating purpose-led communications. The company’s has over 4000 clients across corporate, financial, and governmental sectors.

Tikehau Capital’s makes the investment through the group’s private equity decarbonisation strategy, its thirteenth investment to date.

Tikehau Capital is a global alternative asset management group with €41.1 billion of assets under management as of June 30. The firm is based in Paris, France.

Carlyle, based in Washington DC, is a global investment firm with $385 billion of assets under management as of June 30.
