EasyPark Group, backed by Vitruvian Partners and Verdane, plans to acquire Flowbird Group, an integrated parking and transportation service provider.
Flowbird is based in Paris, France.
Flowbird’s current owner Searchlight Capital Partners has agreed to reinvest most of its capital into EasyPark Group.
“Through a well-suited mix of mobility and transportation services, EasyPark Group will improve urban traffic flow, space utilisation and accessibility globally,” said Cameron Clayton, CEO of EasyPark Group. “We will empower our partners to reinvest in the city’s public transportation, urban greenspaces, and safety.”
Flowbird’s addition will help EasyPark to increase its reach in new locations around the world where the company can deploy its consumer and business-to-business services, according to a release.
Verdane and Vitruvian invested in EasyPark in 2012 and 2018, respectively.
The deal is subject to customary approvals by relevant authorities.
No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
EasyPark is a global parking tech company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Verdane is a growth investment firm with offices in Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, London, Oslo, and Stockholm.
Vitruvian is an international investment firm with offices across London, Stockholm, Munich, Madrid, Luxembourg, San Francisco and Shanghai.
